The village
Lorgues: heart of Provence
Lorgues is an authentic Provençal village a fifteen minute walk from the villa. With its plane tree squares, cobbled lanes and colourful houses it is the perfect place to taste French life. There are shops, terraces and restaurants, including the famous truffle restaurant Chez Bruno.
The Tuesday morning market is one of the finest in the region, with vegetables, fruit, cheese, olives, herbs and artisan products. On Friday there is a farmers' market and brocante.
